Student of the Year and Other Honors Awarded to LSU Health New Orleans Nursing Students

Kristina Rigterink at LASN 2020 Virtual Convention

Students at LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing were honored and elected to leadership positions during the 66th Annual Louisiana Association of Student Nurses (LASN) Virtual Convention.

Kristina Rigterink was named Student of the Year. Christina Hebert was re-elected President of the LASN Board of Directors.

LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing was also awarded Best Instagram Page to Camryn Jolly, Most Newsletter Submissions, and Greatest Number of Student Nurses Association Members in Louisiana.

Camryn Jolly was elected IT Director.

The Louisiana Association of Student Nurses is a statewide community enabling the transition of the student to professional nursing through leadership, education, mentorship, and stewardship. Its mission is to promote the health and well-being of all people by preparing future leaders and scholars in the health sciences.
